  • 12 Medjool dates
  • 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats can use standard if you don't have not gluten intollerant
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 1
  • 1 tsp Organics NZ Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup ground coconut for dusting


  1. Remove the pits from dates and soak them in hot water for several minutes. When the dates are softened, drain them and place in a food processor or blender. (save the water)

  2. Add the other ingredients to a food processor and blend until mixture turns into a dough-like consistency. Add 1 Tbsp of saved water if the mixture is too dry.

  3. With a small spoon, scoop the mixture and roll into balls. Roll the balls in shredded coconut and place on the baking sheet.

  4. Store energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator until serving.

Lemon Turmeric Energy Balls will keep up to 3 months in the freezer.
